The Data-Driven Democracy Lab (DDD Lab) is an interdisciplinary research initiative focused on understanding the impact of digital and online communication on society and democracy. We aim to address urgent issues such as the role of media in influencing polarization and feelings of dissatisfaction among segments of the population, particularly on topics like climate change. We also examine how microtargeting shapes political outcomes such as voting, and investigate how online influencers affect sustainable behavior. In doing so, we aim to explore the impact of digital and online communication in our digital age.
